Sometimes, DNSWatch will generate false alarms. These tend to come from a feed that gets a bit overzealous with their adding of domains or a hacked website that’s recently been cleaned up but is still on our list.
In this case, the user still gets a message that DNSWatch stopped the connection. Using our in-app Discussion feature, our analysis team will let you know that it’s a false alarm and you don’t have to spend any more time on the situation. We also let you know how we’re going to remedy the situation so it doesn’t happen again.
